Sofie Roterman — Textile Designer and Artist
Sofie Roterman (1996) is a Belgian Textile Designer and Artist who researches the boundaries of knitting and the space between design and art. Sofie completed her bachelor of Installation Art at KASK School of Arts, Ghent in 2018. Her profound fascination with materiality and textiles motivated her to pursue a bachelor's degree in Textile Design, which she successfully earned in 2021.
Subsequently, she embarked on a Master's program, giving her the opportunity to further develop and refine her distinctive style and expertise in knitting. Sofie was awarded the Horlait dapsens prize with her master project ‘Embodied Knits’ in 2023.
Pauline de Roover — Jewelry Designer
Pauline De Roover is the founder of a jewelry brand based in Antwerp, which she established in 2021. Her creative identity as a jewelry designer has been solidified through her studies in various artistic techniques such as interior design, graphic design, and art, which she has successfully integrated into her work.
Working with her hands in the creative process is important to Pauline, as it allows her to immerse herself in concentration, relaxation, and meditation. Each piece in her collection is carefully and consciously hand-made, reflecting her individuality and thoughtfulness as a designer.
Carolien De Rop — Illustrator
Carolien De Rop is an illustrator based in Antwerp, Belgium. She studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Sint Lucas in Antwerp. Her illustrations mainly center around themes related to people, nature, and culture. Soon, she will be launching a new webshop called Toettoet Studio. Since becoming a mother to twins in 2022, her passion for all things visual has deepened. When her babies show genuine excitement for an illustration, her heart leaps with joy.
Hans Verheyen — Graphic Designer and 3D Artist
Hans Verheyer, a Graphic Designer at Studio Boiler in Antwerp, who studied graphic design at Sint Lucas. His expertise includes 3D design, allowing him to explore layers and dimensions creatively. His work reflects a commitment to pushing boundaries and bringing innovation (he suggested building my website like a garden, and I'm truly grateful for his brilliant idea).
